How To Join
Sorry, you cannot join. You are just in or not. Lifetime membership is involuntary and cannot be helped; you think, you belong.
Thus, membership is open and unlimited. We hope this encourages you to be active and participate on the web site or Forum.
Perhaps you would like to attend or host a meeting in your area. Let us know what you would like I.A. to do for you.
Why Join?
Beats us! Benefits: None! No regular meetings. No newsletter. No advertisements. No group trips. No mass e-mails. There is
no membership list to sell to commercial interests. Maybe you want to follow our motto: Have an Idea? Let us talk you out
of it! So when you have one of your many great ideas, you can contact a member to discuss it. But, whoa! This will be difficult.
Because membership is truly anonymous; you will have to discover another member with whom to share your brilliance. Who might
that be? Read on.
By sharing both your ideas and a way to contact you on this site, you might discover others in your area or an e-mail
friend or two with whom to talk on a regular basis. Mainly, you would be part of a new family that enjoys ideas on any and
many topics, and you would be able to share with others on either this site or in the Forum.

Sharing
1. Short essays (up to 500 words) may be shared on the web site. Topics: anything. The editor will select items by whim. Submit
to: im2smith@yahoo.com. When you submit an essay, remember to give the identity you wish to have listed at the end of the
essay; you can remain anonymous as the sample essays on line are now, use an e-mail address if you'd like others to contact
you, or use your name. It's your choice.
2. Conferences. The President might call one in an area with sufficient membership, if it were possible to know. Cost
would be low. The purpose would be to meet and share. Or, a member could volunteer to host a meeting in his/her area and advertise
the event on this website.
3. We welcome any suggestions that members may have, given that our staff is very small and time constraints could limit
how much might get done. If nothing else, e-mail I.M. with suggestions and reactions to this site.

Posting Disclaimer
'Tis said that membership has its priviliges. All submissions will be considered for posting on this site; however, every
item received will not automatically be posted. I.M. once had a Unitarian friend whose creed was: Truth through Freedom, Reason
and Tolerance. But it was recommended that one should be intolerant of intolerance. In accepting items for posting, the editors
will follow that guideline. They hope the site will be light hearted, serious and never demeaning.
